Áine graduated in 2019 with a BSc in Agriculture and Environmental Management from Mountbellew Agriculture College and Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. This degree focused on environmental aspects such as Biodiversity and Conservation, Environmental Legislation, Sustainability, Analytical Science and Soil and Nutrient Management. As part of her final year thesis Áine focused on a water quality retention and sustainability plan for a large agribusiness investigating the discernible impacts of this agribusiness on the receiving waterbodies. Between student placement and post-graduate employment Áine has over 5 years’ experience in the agri-business and manufacturing (food) sectors and has worked in both advisory and compliance roles.
At Boylan Engineering & Environmental Consultancy she is involved in site monitoring, waste permits, annual environmental reports and helping in the formation of waste orientated planning applications.
